How much does 3D printing cost in Sri Lanka?
The cost of a 3D print in Sri Lanka depends mostly on how much material the part uses and how long it takes to print. Material, layer height, infill and quantity all change one or both. At RoboticGen the minimum order is Rs. 500 per request, and asking for a quotation is free.

What decides the price

How the quote works
- Estimate while you choose. The quotation page shows an estimated price for each model, based on its shape and the settings you pick.
- A person reviews the request. We check the model and your settings before confirming anything.
- Confirmed price on WhatsApp. We send the confirmed price, and printing starts once your payment is confirmed.
For a very small model, the estimate leaves out the fixed handling cost of a full job, so it may look low. The Rs. 500 minimum applies to the whole request.
Ways to keep the cost down
- Use 0.24 mm Draft for prototypes and fit checks.
- Keep infill low for parts that do not carry much load.
- Put several small parts in one request to make good use of the minimum order.
- Collect the print yourself to avoid a delivery charge.

Delivery costs
Delivery is not part of our printing price. Store pickup in Dehiwala-Mount Lavinia is free. Courier delivery anywhere in Sri Lanka is paid to the courier on delivery and is usually around Rs. 500, depending on the location. PickMe Flash is also available.

Do I pay for a quotation?
No. Requesting a quotation is free. You only pay once you accept the confirmed price we send you on WhatsApp.
What is the minimum order?
Rs. 500 for the whole request. It applies to the request, not to each model, so several small parts can share one request.
Is the price on the website final?
No. The quotation page shows an estimate for each model while you choose your settings. A person then reviews the model and sends the confirmed price on WhatsApp.
Does delivery cost extra?
Courier delivery is paid to the courier when the print arrives. It depends on the location and is usually around Rs. 500. Store pickup in Dehiwala-Mount Lavinia has no delivery charge.
