# 3D printed robot, drone and RC parts

RoboticGen prints custom parts for robots, drones and RC models from your 3D model: mounts, brackets, enclosures, covers and adapters, in PLA, ABS or PETG. Upload the model on the [quotation page](https://3d.roboticgen.co/quote) for a free quote, or message us on WhatsApp if the part needs to be designed first.

We come from engineering and robotics and work with quadruped robots ourselves, including a Unitree Go2.

## Parts that suit FDM printing

| Part | Examples | Material to consider |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Mounts and brackets | Camera, sensor, GPS and antenna mounts; motor and servo brackets | PETG or ABS for toughness |
| Enclosures and covers | Electronics boxes, battery and board covers, cable guides | ABS for parts near warm electronics |
| Adapters and spacers | Standoffs, spacers and adapter plates between parts | PETG or ABS; PLA for a fit check |
| Prototypes | A first version to check the fit before the final part | PLA at 0.24 mm Draft |

Material suggestions follow the general properties of each plastic. Tell us what the part does in Special mentions and we can talk it through on WhatsApp.

## Getting a good fit

We do not publish tolerances. For a part that has to bolt or press onto existing hardware, order one piece at 0.24 mm Draft first, check the fit, then order the final parts. STEP files keep their units, which avoids a part arriving at the wrong scale.

## What a print is not suited to

- Parts that spin fast, such as propellers, or parts whose failure could cause a crash or an injury. These need testing that a print quotation does not include; we print the shape you send and do not test parts under load or in flight.
- Soft or flexible parts. TPU and other flexible materials are not offered.
- Pieces larger than the 256 x 256 x 256 mm build area. Message us on WhatsApp before ordering a larger part.

## Questions people ask

### Can you print custom parts for my robot, drone or RC model?

Yes. Upload the model of the mount, bracket, enclosure or cover on the quotation page and choose PLA, ABS or PETG. A person reviews every model before we confirm the price on WhatsApp.

### Can you print a drone frame?

We can print a frame design you send, as long as each piece fits the 256 x 256 x 256 mm build area. Printed plastic frames are usually heavier and less stiff than carbon fibre ones, so many builders print the mounts and accessories and keep a carbon or metal frame.

### Do you print TPU parts?

No. TPU and other flexible materials are not offered, so soft bumpers, antenna tubes and other flexible parts are not available.

### Can you design a part to fit my hardware?

Yes. The 3D design service starts from a sketch, photos or the hardware the part has to fit. Message us on WhatsApp with the measurements.
